J Arnold Hancock & Co became part of the McHale & Co family in October 2015. Robert Thorpe, who has been with the firm since 1965 and qualified as a solicitor in 1975 and remains at the Stretford office with the practice as it enters this exciting new phase.

Robert undertakes a range of private client matters such as drafting wills and powers of attorney, administering estate and acting in property matters.

Robert is married with two children who attend local schools. Robert is a member of the Stretford and Urmston Rotary Club and past President of the Club. He is also a former School Governor of Victoria Park Junior School Stretford and a Member of the Law Society.

In his spare time he enjoys watching Altrincham Football Club and playing golf.
