Domestic building projects can be very expensive and, as they are in your home, personal.  Having a clearly drafted contract which provides the precise work to be completed and the timescales to complete it is key to avoid disputes or make disputes more manageable when they do occur.  Unfortunately, in our experience, this is not often the case.

The most common causes for concern are poor workmanship, the cost of extras and timescales.  We identify the problems, at an early stage, and give practical commercial advice on how you can achieve the best outcome, in the circumstances.

We work closely with Chartered Structural Surveyors whose instruction is necessary where a claim concerns defective workmanship.
