At Waldron & Schofield we understand, through experience, the extremely negative effects which the process of a criminal prosecution and having a criminal record can have on individuals, their jobs and their family and close friends.

We are recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority with the Criminal Litigation Accreditation. This is in recognition of our experience in providing the very best defence to those in trouble with the Police.

Effective representation starts in the Police Station and follows through to the Courts if charged. Legal Aid is available to all in the Police Station. WE DO NOT UNDERTAKE LEGAL AID WORK, we only act for privately paying clients. That being said, we do work on fixed fees including Police Station work.

We undertake work in the following areas:

  • Sexual offences
  • Dishonesty offences: from minor theft to complex fraud.
  • “White Collar” Crime
  • Public Order offences

We pride ourselves on providing clear and realistic advice to clients regarding the charge they face and the strength of the case against them.

We act for individuals on a private basis only; we do not undertake legal aid work. To give you peace of mind regarding our fees from the outset, we can agree fixed fees for our work.
